I Watch the WNBA Too !

I've been following the ongoing adventures of Ozzie Guilen, the manager of the Chicago White Sox. A couple of weeks ago, you may have caught his latest embrolio -- he called a reporter that was writing bad things about him "a fag".

When confronted with it the next day, amidst the brou-ha-ha, he said:

"I don't have anything against those people. In my country, you call someone something like that and it is not the same as it is in this country.''

According to ESPN: 'Guillen said that in his native Venezuela, that word is not a reference to a person's sexuality, but to his courage. He said he was saying that Mariotti is "not man enough to meet me and talk about [things before writing].''

Guillen also told Couch that he has gay friends, attends WNBA games, went to a Madonna concert and plans to go to the Gay Games in Chicago.'

Which makes me laugh!

I mean you've got to figure the people at the WNBA are sitting there minding their own business, and whamo -- Guillen uses them as a litmus test!

Guillen keeps sticking his foot deeper and deeper into his mouth!

I have a good friend who is a receptionist at the WNBA, by the way.

In fact I took this WNBA related picture just last week:
